There might be an extra page added during the week, but no promises.

Fortunately, horses are non-reflective.

Colours are fun. The first set of GodStrike (in fact, most of the first chapter) is set during the late sunset, which have given me some license to paint backgrounds almost entirely in retina burning red and purple-grey. This, has provided its own challenges (as in, showing the character in a way that she can be seen - including her colours - and yet still interacting with the light) as well has its own fun bits (I love the almost monochrome-esqu background, and the red really gives it this ominous feel, which it fitting). Fortunately, horses are non-reflective, so I don't have to go overboard with the lighting colours.

I think this kind of colour composition is something I should play around with in the future. Maybe when there's more movement and action scenes I can do more backgrounds similar. Hmmm.... See this is why I started GS (or one of the reasons), to improve my art.

Anyway, GS update tomorrow. Two full page panels.

I'm starting to think I need to consider updating GS more often. I I were a reader, I'd want more than one-two pages a week. The story won't get very far it continues at a once a week update. Unless I aim to do more than one-two pages per week. Its definitely something to keep in mind. Still. I don't want art quality to suffer in order to pump it out at a faster rate. I guess next week would be a good 'test week' to see just how much I can get done without producing crap.

Learning. That's what its all about.

Well finally!

Hey chaps!

I finally managed to give the ol' website a facelift. I'll miss the blue and green due-thing, but eh, he had to go. If you head on over the the site ( madcowart.com ) you'll see some new (and recent!) art up there, as well as the mini-comic Nel-Nel & George along side the very first few pages of Godstrike!

Let me know what you think!

Exiting times!

Dun-dun... Dun-Dun...

Howdy guys!

Well, we are now on the eve of the GodStrike official release. I've got massive website updates coming tomorrow, I've just got to add the mini-comic I finished a month or so ago and then it'll be go time.... or rather, upload time. I'll be a happy moo once its all up, let me tell you.

I've been working on GS for god only knows how long. I'll be glad to see it up there on the 'net and hopefully being enjoyed. That's the real goal of a webcomic, after all.

I've made a mid-year resolution to keep the website updated and current, so that I never have to go through a massive update like that again (or not until I decide I'm sick of the layout, or something!). If I keep on top of it, it won't be such a hassle in the future.

So, brace yourselves for the major website update that is on its way. I've also got a twitter account too. I'll tottaly be trying to promote my site, my artworks and my comics in the coming weeks. Though I don't really have much of a clue how to go about it, I guess its time for some research!
